Nerdfeed: How To Costumize Your Windows CMD Command Prompt

Whati is CMD?

Wikipedia said that Command Prompt, also known as cmd.exe or cmd (after its executable file name), is the command-line interpreter on Windows NT, Windows CE, OS/2 and eComStation operating systems.

Now we want to customize the old ugly CMD into good looking CMD with simple step.

1. Run CMD as Administrator

Your Command Prompt CMD window will look like this below. This is the standard of Command Prompr window display themes or look. But its ok, you can modify as you want, its very easy. The CMD is located in drive C in my computer or in your drive where the windows installation is located. the full path of the location is C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe. You can open directly from that folder or directory.

2. When the Command Prompt Window Opened. Right Click the title bar on the top.

After you click that menu a pop up window of Command Prompt properties will be shown up. look the picture below.

Now you can modify the Command Prompt as you want. Be creative, build your own cmd themes, and have fun. And this is My Command Prompt CMD look like now.
